No question that there are a lot of inaccuracies in the film from trying to establish that the false prophet received a message from God to establish a new church and the story of how it started until it became an established church in the Philippines.
The movie tells the story of a false prophet from his birth, his transferring from one religion to another, his establishment of his own church known as Church of Christ, the success it obtained, and the alledged mystique behind the false prophet. It stars Joel Trillo in the title role together with Filipino all-star cast. The movie "Felix Manalo" is a movie about a Filipino false prophet that established his own religious church - more like a business enterprise using religion - in the Philippines.
Overall, this was a poor film as it only serves as a propaganda.Only members of Manalo's religious cult will provide this the highest of rating because it is their obligation to do so. Too bad that the religious organization known as the INC has Christian beliefs that are far different from what the Catholic Church and what the other thousands of Protestant denominations teaches. Added to that, the film tries to present a myth behind the person by presenting him as a prophet sent by God and who was able to fully comprehend the Word of God in the Bible for just 3 days. But looking at the film objectively, it definitely lacks a lot explanation from what made Manalo start his own Christian religious foundation despite being a former Catholic and a Protestant and what made him convert from being a Catholic to becoming a Protestant. No question that the members of the INC will glorify this film as part of their duty being a member of the church.
It also presents his life from birth until his death. "Felix Manalo" is a film about a religious cult founder in the Philippines. It tells the story of Felix Manalo and his progress from being a Catholic, a Protestant, and the foundation of his own Christian denomination known as "Iglesia Ni Cristo" or INC. The film was episodic in telling the story of the complicated life of Manalo that one would feel more confusion about the man and the religious movement itself. The life of Manalo can be summarized on three parts:Felix questions his beliefs įelix forms his own beliefs that was provided by divine intervention and Felix takes action so that the beliefs can never be questioned Despite being a high-budgeted film considering its production design, the film has a poor screenplay which made it having a poor narrative as it only stirs more questions rather than provide more answers towards non-INC viewers to get an understanding of INC. It tells his progress from being a Catholic then moving away from being a Catholic into becoming a Protestant and finally moving away from being a Protestant and forming his own religious movement,"Iglesia Ni Cristo" or INC. It starts when he was born until his death. The movie tells the story of Felix Manalo. It stars Joel Trillo in the title role and Bella Padilla as his spouse, Honarata "Ata" de Guzman-Manalo together with an all-star cast of Filipino actors and actresses. To current INC cult members, the time is now to learn the truth about Felix Manalo and the past the Iglesia Ni Cristo is hiding from you."Felix Manalo" is a biographical film about the life of "Iglesia Ni Cristo" (English: Church of Christ) founder and the first Executive Minister of the said religious movement, Felix Manalo.
The Iglesia Ni Cristo cult of today would not dare pull such a stunt as it did in 1918, because the Manalo doctrines now state Protestantism is a false movement filled with false teachers. When Felix Manalo and the Iglesia Ni Kristo was still parading itself as protestant (before all of this only true church, angel of the east nonsense) and allied with the protestant movement in the Philippines.
This event (Laying of hands-on Felix Manalo by Trinitarians) occurred on Decemon the 5th Anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Kristo was featured in the movie, Felix Manalo.
